MN Reading Corps's chance to win A LOT of mula!

Attention MRC staff, members, family and friends: the One Man Minneapolis event is going on right now in the twin cities and it needs our help!

One Man Minneapolis is a competition between 20 guys based on fashion, pop culture trivia, informal interviews and fun. The winner receives $2500 for themselves and $2500 for a charity of their choice.  The two guys who organized it were inspired to get more men engaged in nonprofit work, seeing as the industry is dominated by females. "One Man is a perfect vehicle for spotlighting great work in the community."

Why is this important to us? Because the Minnesota Reading Corps was chosen as one of the charities!

Bill Tamlyn, a native of St. Paul, chose the MRC so let's help him out by voting for him! To vote, go to onemanminneapolis.com, click on Bill Tamlyn's photo and then click vote. It's fast and easy so no excuses! And you can vote every day from any location (meaning members in rural areas can vote too), so get clickin'. Voting goes through midnight of May 20 with the final event on Saturday May 22 at 8pm.

And if you would like to meet and get to know Bill and the other nominees, there is a series of "Meet the Men" hapy hours. The next one is at ALOFT Wednesday May 28 5-7pm.

Good luck Bill!
