The North Star Roller Girls will be holding a book drive benefitting the MRC during their bout on January 16. Bringing new or used books will get you $2 off of admission and there will also be discounts for anyone wearing MRC gear. If you've never experienced a roller derby, this will be a great opportunity - go on the 16th to rep the MRC and get in cheap!
Last year, the MRC raised 383 books for the Metro Corps through the partnership. That's an impressive book drive, but that's only setting the bar for this year.
